The action in Netflix's original Netflix film Extraction is no surprise considering Sam Hargrave's experience as a stunt coordinator for movies like Captain America: Civil War or Avengers: Endgame. Joe Russo (Endgame director) scripted Extraction, which is a brutal and violent actioner about a disillusioned mercenary tasked to escort a young kidnapped child out of Dhaka. He develops a relationship with the boy and becomes a protector. This one is wild. Chris Hemsworth plays a strong lead role, while Hargrave does some great stuff with the camera. Extraction is gritty, graphic and has a unique visual flair that will get your heart pumping.

The Mission: Impossiblefranchise was originally intended to showcase each filmmaker's individual sensibilities. Brian De Palma transformed the classic series of espionage into a tightly-paced, suspenseful noir thriller. Although it lacks the same level in stunt work as the later films, Mission: Impossible still has its moments. De Palma does an excellent job of creating a shocking opening without making it too dark. Ethan Hunt's (Tom Cruise), heartbreak at losing his team sets the stage for his character arc throughout the series. Cruise has never been more successful in this role.

6 Undergroundis possibly the most unhinged film Michael Bay has ever made. This is no small statement. Are you a fan of the Transformers or Bad Boys movies? Did you think Bay could do more? She portrays Ava as both a capable assassin, and as a caring sister and daughter. It's great to see Ava join the ranks of strong female agents in a world that is filled with male assassins like Jason Bourne and John Wick.

Gunpowder Milkshake is a film that features a female-led ensemble, but it also tells the story of a mother and her daughter who are attempting to reconcile after being abandoned. Sam (Karen Gillan), who is a dangerous hitwoman and is targeted by a crime syndicate to kill a child (Chloe Coleman), reunites with Lena Headey, her estranged mother, to help the child. They recruit others from the sisterhood, which includes Angela Bassett and Carla Gugino. Gunpowder Milkshake, with its distinctive cinematography and impressive fight choreography is a sweet and violent treat for your eyes.

The Revisionist Western film The Harder They Fall tells the story of Nat Love, a cowboy whose parents were killed by an outlaw. Love and his gang reunite after the prison outlaw is released. It features an ensemble cast, and many characters are loosely inspired by real-life 19th century figures. This movie is a must-see for western fans. Even if you don't like cowboys it's an entertaining story that will satisfy your action cravings.

This spy movie, which starred Daniel Craig as James Bond in 2006, is undoubtedly the best film featuring him in that role. Casino Royale is a delightful movie, with Mads Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre's dazzling performance. The film reboots the franchise, with James Bond being introduced as a new agent in 00 who is still obtaining his license to kill. Bond is assigned to defeat Le Chiffre, a terrorist banker, in a high-stakes game of poker. He falls in love with Vesper Lynd along the way which has unexpected consequences. Casino Royale opens the bigger story that will run through all of Craig’s Bond films, and ends in No Time to Die. The movie perfectly captures the Daniel Craig era, combining action and intrigue with enough grittiness.

This Netflix action movie is directed by Timo Tjhajanto and features brutal, bloody combat. Tjahjanto's best feature film, The Night Comes for Us, is an unstoppable showcase of action, violence, and narrating the story of a war criminal who seeks redemption. The cast includes familiar faces, including those who loved The Raid films. They will be able to recognize Joe Taslim and Julie Estelle as well as Zack Lee and Iko Uwais who plays a supporting role, but still puts in incredible fight scenes. This movie has all the action scenes you want in an action movie. It is a thrilling, entertaining, and incredibly violent showcase of wall-to-wall fighting. While this movie will be praised for sharing its cast with The Raid's, it is also impressive on its own.

Although the plot isn't as complex as Ocean's Eleven's, Red Notice's heist movie scores high for its humor, and the performances of the leading actors. Ryan Reynolds plays Nolan Booth, the second-best art thief in the world. After being framed by the Bishop (Gal Gadot), they have to team up with John Hartley, FBI profiler. It is a game of cat and mouse as Booth, Hartley, and the Bishop compete to find an artifact that is priceless. Red Notice is an entertaining movie that features great action and lots of funny scenes. There are already two sequels in the works.
